It solves so much drama and incentivizes players to group together... solo farming ghoul lord is cool and all until the other players in the zone decide they want to take it. Maybe you should have invited that wizard when you had the chance 😈

Like who really thinks the PNP is good? Let’s create a system that gives AFK players entire camps indefinitely, and since DPS doesn’t matter, there will never be any incentive to invite other players.

Er no. Once there was a framework of rules kill stealing was not allowed. Early on in classic there were no rules like this because no one had any idea what jerks people could become online. Once we realized it was a problem you had rules put in place prohibiting kill stealing. There may have been certain mobs that were a DPS race but your average mob was not supposed to be a DPS race.

Of course, it was very hard to catch kill stealing in action unless you happened to catch the complaint quickly and/or the griefer was doing it for a more extended period of time. I banned someone permanently for a third infraction of grieving because they were kill stealing someone for like half an hour straight.
