sorry dude played a bard for 8 years on live , they are horrible till at LEAST luclin , they cant do anything other then swarm a bunch of crap in an outdoor zone , and with no 2 minute selo fuck that

not to mention mobs can occasionally smash you from far away , i wouldnt swarm anything on red

but yes my original comment holds true ,without FADE , bellow pulls and psalm of veeshan ( and at least GoD Haste song ) bards are garbage , epic is very useful proc for pure melee groups , and theres a dagger from tov that procs a similar haste with great stats , but i dont see anyone getting either of those anytime soon , if ever

but theres so many horrible bards on red and blue that just have no business playing one to begin with , they get one song for a bit of MR a fart haste song and little else , you going to call selos worth a spot in the group ? maybe if your that type , but would you rather look over and see a bard nirgon or another wizard

on beta there was a bard who got 50 first , he spent tons of time swarming , the day he got 50 he went to guk , tried to solo a trash mob , died , and his corpse rotted

id like to see what you could do in guk on a bard nirgon , granted you picked the easiest class in the game , nuke nuke oh shit someone is on me fade nuke nuke win or gate

1) pop will be going up in the future, once patches and planes come out. it will be slow but pop will rise over time

2) the biggest reason ppl left the server was they didn't have the time/drive to deal with the HORRID exp compared to the vztz. I was one of the ppl who wanted real shit-slow exp, because it meant when you got banned for hacking you weren't coming back 4 days later at level 50 again.. but you guys have been so good at preventing hacks that this isn't a reason to keep exp so slow. at least at the lower levels it might be nice to increase exp rate

0-You don't need selo's or any runspeed buff for ae kiting.
1-I ae kited from 2 to 32 on my Bard, lag and hitboxes were rarely an issue.
2-The best bard haste in kunark is like 45% if I remember correctly. That seems pretty good?
3-Bards get like 4 MR songs. What are you even talking about?
4-Selo's is a huge advantage in a group. Against me, a solo wizard is tough but still killable. A wizard and a Bard is just a death wish.
5-If someone died soloing a trash mob in guk, either they were really bad or they were trying to solo a mob that probably few other classes could solo. I have no issues soloing in guk.
6-A bard is still useful in a dungeon, as you still get the best resist songs in the game. For all your talk about how great wizards are, you say curiously little about resists.

For someone who claims to be an expert on Bards you sure are ignorant about them. Weren't you the same guy who said they couldn't solo pk anyone?

45% with no stats does not compare to the songs close to 75 with upwards of 100 point dmg shield and epic attack / str , you missed my point because you never played a bard past velious or p99

your 4 magic resist songs dont stack ( or they arent supposed to ) and only guardian rhythms adds enough to justify twisting endgame

the 2 chorus's ( Velious i believe ? ) Are good , till then suck it

as for you aoe kiting , you must suck because i saw you in oasis and talked to you about aoe kiting and you gave me like ten excuses and in 2 weeks you went from 40-42 doing specs for fucking 8 hours a day

if you knew how to aoe kite you do BB Guards and be done in 1 day , believe me

Guardians stacks with all the others, and is supposed to because it's classic. It adds just as much MR as Elemental/Purifying Rhythms. Please stop posting.

Firstly, it takes about 3 hours for me to do a level on specs. If I gained 2 levels in 2 weeks it was because I was playing for less than an hour a day. I'm doing my master's degree so I have less time to play eq. Secondly, our conversations consisted of you telling me to kite in BB. I don't do ae kiting in BB like you suggest because the amount of time it takes to amass a pull, plus my lack of experience with the zone, plus the probability of getting ganked mid-kite makes it too dangerous in my opinion.

With a drum at level 50 it's more like 120 MR and 60 CR/FR (or DR/PR). I'm not sure of the exact numbers but just to give a comparison, my 60 Bard on blue99 with naggy drums gives 166 MR and 83 of the other resists.

In all seriousness, I've solo PKed players of every class in legitimate fights (except for Bards - my only kills on Bards have involved me snaring them mid-kite). I'm not bragging, I'm just saying that you have no idea how to play a Bard and that's what motivates your views on the class.

I never said "melee", I said "solo". Like, by using dots, slows, etc. Is this really that hard to understand? You have serious reading comprehension problems and I think everyone can see that you're being extremely silly here. I'm 95% sure you're just trolling since no one could be this obtuse.
