I now know why the big races don’t have you doubling back. Because laps 2 and 3 of the work 5k were non-stop obstacles of slower people I was lapping. Felt like a football player having to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge. Some 5yr old oblivious girl ran right out in front of me as I was passing her family, and I thought how awesome it would be to vault right over her, but I couldn’t spare the energy

Nice job but you shouldn't dress like Antifa for a race. Shit's hot. 🥵

It’s a slimming color. But yea it was fuckin hot

I’ve wanted to do a physique update for a while (really, any positive changes are minute and very hard fought nowadays) but can’t seem to strip off this last 5ish lbs

It is funny how RL mirrors RPG’s. The more progress you make, the more tiny and incremental progress becomes. Is true for both muscle gain and fat loss. The hardest lbs to lose, physiologically, are the last extra

Only time I've ever been cat-called, by some girl leaning out of a passing VW Bug, I was out running wearing all black. Sweating my ass off in california summer heat. 15 years later and that shit still keeps me going lol. Worth it.

Lol I feel ya

It’s sad that for how much we hold onto compliments, I rarely have the guts to give them out to strangers when not working (since strengths recognition is part of the therapeutic approach, happens frequently working)

More race pics published. My determined face in the first one hiding in the background

In the second is my surprisingly photogenic face after pulling way out ahead of everyone. Normally mid-race photo’s I look like I’m being waterboarded

People give me shit for running holding my phone. But if I put it in my pocket it bashes me in the nuts and flops all around at fast speeds. I should get an arm strap but then I feel like I can’t get to it on the fly as easily

O was always afraid of getting cancer from my phone while running. Didn't relish the idea of having a strong radio source blasting my zenned out retard chakras in direct contact with my source body.

Holding it in your hands is fine tho lol. Ppl are silly. Ppl run with little hand weights and squeezy balls and shit. So why not...

It is funny tho when I was a big runner. I never sought out those races but I kept showing up at places just starting or finishing the events. Universe was probably nudging at me.

It's a good thing to do. Glad u have that in ur life. So many ppl take the ability to do stuff like that for granted (not atchu here).
