we had a 5v5 in ventrillo the other night, one of the players was roughly 2000 elo and went ap trist mid against my morgana. I gotta say, i always gave ap trist the nod as a decent champion but I never respected it like I did after playing against his trist. I went W > E >Q for maxxing out purposes, landed about 2/3 of my root attacks so i was skillshotting very well, landed my shield about 75% of the time before he would try to burst me at 100% hp no less, and he was ripping through me like a knife through butter. At level 6 with just his E active, ultimate, and ignite, he would eat through 80% of my hp with a level 2 shield active. I did manage to kill him a handful of times, and did not feed early game. But he brought so much burst to the table that he was literally crushing our team singlehandidly. No one champion even our tanks could handle his burst by level 11. With rank 5 shield and around 250ap I would get completely annihilated if he landed his full W>E>R combo. Of course at this point he had 10 kills and was pretty beastmode.

Anyway I'm glad you mentioned tristana, I'm going to give ap trist a whirl.
