Republicans like just went through this whole tea party uprising thing. In yet they are completely clueless that the same thing is happening in the Democratic Party. They also seem to be quite unaware that they were just as bad toward Obama as the Democrats have been toward Trump...

Whata guys think? Is it a good thing to demonize the president and just be opposite of everything he is?

Anyway, the primary difference between populist Republicans and Democrats is one party seems to help mostly people that own their own small/medium size business, and the other is more interested in all low/medium paid workers...I think its obvious which one will command more votes in the long run.

But I don't support any measures hammering small business for what its worth. I think we should keep the corporate tax rate where it is at until we prove capable of actually taxing the richest of the rich. It's stupid to put the tax burden on the middle/upper-middle portion of society alone.

Sanders didn't hold a job until the age of 40 when he got his first payroll paycheck and started paying taxes.

The only thing I very fiercely disagree with socialists on is you want to tax very poor upper-middle, bottom 1%'ers. The people who broke their ass to get money. People who can't live well off passive income. The 200k/yr to 2.5million a year crowd.

You have a millionaires tax in many socialist leaning states. The million a year crowd is not your enemy nor who you want to be targeting for tax reform. The goal should always be the upper 1%, those with extreme amounts of passive income and exorbitant wealth.

Not business magnates, but those who do not participate in the economy in any way shape or form.

Until socialists readjust their goals I'll never be on board with them. "occupy wallstreet" your average wallstreet guy is only making a few hundred thousand a year. That is not the enemy of the people.

Also all forms of socialism are doomed to eventually fail unless refreshed from time to time.

It'd be better to have a soft cap. And for people to build their own roads and retirement rather than hope the government can do it.
