Trump's not going to pack crates or specify the order of evacuation on places he couldn't ever spell or pronounce with years of practice.

It's only been nine months. Biden has almost the exact same resources Trump did. No more or less. The evacuation would have gone the same.

Any missteps are all on the intelligence and military leaders. These remain almost unchanged outside of the cabinet level positions.

We need to demand UAE turn over Ghani or face drone strikes. That piece of shit fled with $100MM maybe. That should be our money. It's a drop on the bucket, but he shouldn't get to keep it on principle alone for doing nothing but failing. These dirt merchants had 20 years...

That's ridiculous, Biden pulled the military out *before* the citizens. That is just patently insane. He is the commander in chief *OF* the military, what happens ultimately falls to him. Afghanistan was a better place due to our presence, it is now an 8th century hellhole again without it. Great job.

Big picture, probably. Taliban still would've taken over. That being said, some of our allies are claiming we didn't even notify them of the specifics of our timeline, leaving them out in the cold. If so, details like that might've been handled better by a different administration, and the devil's in the details. The present administration has to own that.

I agree with respect to countries that are sheltering thieves. It has long bothered me that certain countries in that region (that just happen to be awash with wealth, surely that's purely a coincidence) seem to get a free pass for any amount of bad behavior while we keep dropping bombs on the poor.
