I usually can't sit through a movie unless it is a 8/10 or better. IMO sequels have almost always sucked unless they were planned into the original story.

I think free market systems are organic. You can see it to some degree even in black markets, but eventually those become more prone to monopoly which is a form of socialism by the owner class imo.

I like sci-fi games and I always play an alien oppressive race without much of a market culture. All resources are channeled by an extreme theocracy, military industrial complex, or AI or hive mentality towards the goal of complete dominion.

One exception is the Ameoba in endless space which can dominate all galactic economies through just a few systems. In this case diversity is actually beneficial and the amoeba act like an interface and management layer for everyone disparate culture and economy.

will you please recommend me a game where i can do that?
Endless space is too primitive and simplistic, I don't know about endless space 2. It just has the vestiges.

It's a cool concept to design a SIM around though.

Google trade Sims? I just thought it was fun to own 10% of the systems and have all the resources in my empire. Still needed an advanced military, but if you hold less territory, it's cheaper to defend [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Im buy endless space 2 and let u know wat I think if they bothered to improve it

It's always just too ez to hack and cheese AIs though. Even on extreme difficulty. But it makes me think.

well should i play endless space or is it bad?
It's kinda actually bad. For 9.99 not a loss.

I'd say cons:
Limited replay value
Little emergent gameplay
Slow pace
Bad military options

Pro
A few unique playstyles
Unique way of looking at resources
Chill interface
Lowspec

Biggest con?
Gameplay doesn't really evovle, once a course is set u will see wether it'll work or not 100 moves out and it's near impossible to change the outcome

I'll tell u wat though it'd take forever, but an endless space playthrough with the ppl in this forum would be really interesting. The human element would play out nicely.

I'm afraid failure would alienate me intellectually already though. So I'm sorta scared.

I'd want to side with bigj and Azzar Alghador hard vs JD tho.

Sorry JD.

I'd give mick some tech too.

I'm also like of the mind everyone would just kill me first to eliminate an early threat before I got strong. W a little protection my alliance would definitely win though. Ppl would have to maybe give their empires for it though.

Also alliances win the game if option is enabled. So can have multiple winners with separate scores.
