anti-marriage uh i guess dworkin? but that was like 30 years ago. nobody cares about dworkin.

pro equal opportunity generally means pretending a poverty kid has the same chances for success as a rich kid. maths suggest otherwise

alot of these are weasel words. a proper propagandist(marketing) should know better.
Some of us just believe in individualism bud. I know a lot of people my age who are garbage / borderline in a midlife crisis 24/7. My life was exceedingly difficult in my formative years and I think that has inoculated me against becoming a pussy ass bitch like a lot of peers in my cohort.

I don't think most of us pretend that people don't start off with equal situations. I think we appreciate the fact that the "hottest fires forge the hardest steel" or some other bs cliche that makes my point. There is something to a culture of individualism, markets (for ideas as well as goods), and conservatism that led the Protestants to "dunk" on earth for the pst 500 years. We really need to ditch welfare, affirmative action, but ESPECIALLY a mentality of what people are owed or deserve. Life just doesn't play out that way and it sets people up to be bitter and depressed.

God bless

Pretty cool to see jd become a superior poster to pokesan. Poke you've really degraded bud, even if I admire your shit posting efforts at a ln artistic level.

Jd I'll read your post later on man but I have to go focus on which of these candidates is going to get the job
Poke is a solid Italian wit, but look at Italy. It's a country that can't even form a government. Italians aren't suited to democracy. They need a strong emperor

There are two different things the left is in this country at this time.

1) The Democratic Party and their establishment politics. These people are primarily about white guilt, virtue signaling, academic elitism, bigger government and keeping existing means-tested welfare with all its problems.

2) The Bernie Sanders/Socialist movement that wants to get away from identity politics and virtue signaling, thinks welfare and many other government programs can be restructured to give more to more people and means test less. Wants employment laws to make the bottom level jobs (its like half the jobs in the economy and rising) pay better, and more time off for jobs in general. Wants to actual do things about healthcare, education, the decline of black people in general -- instead of virtue signaling about these things and changing nothing.

So if you want to call 2 "communist" -- at least there is some basis. But that has nothing to do with Hilary Clinton or Obama. It has nothing to do with the intellectual "leftests" you see on CNN etc...those people are mostly rightwing when it comes to economic policy -- and want to virtue signal to cover this awkward fact up.

Even when it comes to the real socialist platform (again, existing mostly outside of the media) -- calling it "communist" is essentially a demonization. It a way of saying "hey look -- its like Russia in 1930!" The older generations have been fed propaganda their whole life about how bad communism is in Russia, and how very important it is to avoid that here. It's basically the same thing is calling Bernie a Nazi -- which some of these people actually do.

People believe stupid things and that's allowed...but most people under 35 who don't have rich parents simply don't find calling everything socalist "like communism and thus bad!" a very convincing argument. We never grew up afraid of Russia. We are scared of corporate influence, not someone like Valdimir Lenin.

Even those who learn about Communist Regimes -- we learn about it in a less biased and loaded way...you know by like, looking at the historical development of Russia and the communist movements there. Not simply explaining how they are terrorists and bad. To people born until more recently, the world is sliced into freedom (us) and some horrible dystopia (them). I really don't expect the majority of these generations to change that outlook. Which is why America growth, debt, social mobility, and overall stability keep declining.

This is how shit went down in Sweden btw...The corporations took everything until the general population rose up and said enough. It's never top-down some rich thinking the poor deserve a better deal. It's always bottom up after the rich have been saying "let them eat cake" for decades.
Yep, and now Sweden is 20% Arab and Somali

I'll take corporate overlords of national suicide by ugly/obese conquest

Go rockets. Klay Thompson delenda est
