You know what I don't understand about foregn cultures...

Like in midevil times Westerners had long hair and dressed a certain way. But then they changed their clothes and styles and have short hair. Then they wear suits. Then they changed that.. more or less.. you get the picture.

But then you have all these countries where they wear head scarfs, all males grow their hair long, they have the same moustashes and facial hair as they did 300 years ago.

What the fuck is up with that? Why do all these countries keep their clothing and appearance so sacred? What the fuck is the point in that?
