He doesnt take well to criticism, just not a natural fit for a leader, maybe hes allrite as just one of the guys, not in a position to try to force shit down peoples throat (thats my main criticism against Lite as well). Like for example we were discussing the name of our WoW emu guild in vent (serious business you see) and at one point he stepped in the conversation and said he didnt wanna hear anything about it anymore, either post on the forums or shut up about it. I didnt say anything in vent cuz i didnt wanna start drama over some ridiculously trivial subject like that but i ridiculed him for it afterwards on the force forums and that was the end of my little wow emu adventure cuz i didnt care to find another crew to hang with. My reaction was like whaaaaat? Are we in a classroom in 4th grade and Terp is thinking hes the teacher talking to a bunch of children he can just command and disrespect like that as he sees fit? Im fucking 38 years old lol not gonna get talked like that by some fuckin 18 year old with control issues, were trying to have fun right?

Like he was entrenched in a position that was obviously wrong, and didnt wanna admit that he was wrong. My point was that if you have a long guild tag in wow, it sticks out of corners and gives your position away when youre trying to be stealthy in PVP. Theres no ifs or buts, thats how it is. But because his first position was that the length of the guild name had zero influence in pvp, he wasnt able to admit he was wrong and instead tried to bully and shout me down on the forums to get me to change my position, which was the right, tactically advantageous one (lawl). If youre in a leading position, and youre entrenching yourself in a bad viewpoint because you dont wanna lose face and your ego is too big to admit you were wrong, you shouldnt be in that position.

And i made a point of specifying that yea, its really not that important, but sometimes, you will run into a situation where you are say, stuck in a building (example, after rezzing from a pvp death), and in order to peek around the corner in 3rd person to see whats outside and make a decision if you can take the reds that are outside or stay hidden and wait for backup, you are in a position where tag will stick out and give your position away to reds if its too long. I wasnt able to get terp to say that, to admit that yes, this is true, my position was wrong.

Not alot of things i give a shit about when im in vent playing MMOs. One thing i like about MMOs is it gets me to mix and have fun with people that in RL id probably wouldnt be able to stand being around. (Im a hardcore greenpeace commie anti-racist pinkie etc)

But i draw the line at people like abysal shouting stuff like kill that ****** all the time in vent, i cant imagine what tomato is like in vent

The server can be real frustrating if you let it get to you. There things out of your control that if taken the wrong way can ruin your time. Competition is a joke on this server and no amount of skill can change this so it is toxic for a community with big egos on both sides. The ones on the winning side rub it in and the ones on the losing side get bitter, when in reality no skill is involved in this struggle. It is just the nature of the population and the 1-2 people calling the shots in the winning guild.

There is however fun to be had as HB has pointed out. It is still Everquest and there is a lot of content up for grabs on this small population server. There is PvP to be found if you look for it. You can test your skill out in PvP vs other players and even though it won't determine your dominance over raid PvE it is still fun.

Honestly, just talkin to u guys here, i realize theres some cool people playing red, and almost feel like reinstalling Everquest and fucking around on red doing what Sektor is talking about but i just dislike PnP too much.

Not going to Lie, sometimes the low pop is nice. Hey I wanna do that quest guess what do it! no one else camping. Hey I want to go camp that item... Chances are you can go do it. sometimes its just nice.
