If you don't like the changes don't play here. It's pretty simple.
I heard the same sort of thing back in 2004 before EQ nosedived and they closed half the servers.
Be careful what you wish for.

They don't have investors to answer to, Sony did.

Uaellaen I followed the new steps and still getting EQEmuLauncher has stopped working :l FML any other ideas. It's extracting the files into the new folder in C: that i made, not in program files but C. Then its crashing EQEmulauncher after downloading the patch files.

i don't get the disabling maps. Is it really more "classic" to have to alt-tab out to eq atlas? I mean yeah, I know it is, but its still stupid.

the problem has to be that its extracting the patch files into the same file as the eqemulauncher and not into the eq directory.

Did you never overwrite any of the previous ones?

Also is there a chance to get README files included with these?

Ya i havn't done any of that and don't know how, would that possibly fix the situation and make EQEmuLauncher stop crashing? I still think it has something to do as well with the files patching into same location as EQEmuLauncher even after I followed the youtube video and have correct directory information setup. Shouldn't they be patching into eq directory?? Any ideas anyone I'm hella stressed out and need more help. <3
