Picture you’re going through a drive through to buy a hamburger. And the employee says “I don’t want to make a hamburger for someone like YOU”, and then you say “no, you are going to make me my fucking hamburger and like it”….

…that burger is 100% gonna have spit and pubes in it. Sane normal people don’t demand someone make their food who doesn’t like them. It just doesn’t happen. Anyone insisting on that is fishing for a lawsuit. And is willing to eat a cake with pubes and spit in it to get it apparently

I would probably thank them for at least telling me up front, rather than just not saying anything and then putting something disgusting in my food. Then depending on how in inconvenient it was for me, I might file a complaint. But it would take me longer to file a complaint than to just go to a different food place so I’d probably pass on that

You have the right to refuse service but not for prejudices or hatred. How is this hard? Spitting in someones food is a felony, its not just some malicious act. They now committed a felony, spitting in your food.

Or someone does it to your mother. I'm not making her food because shes white. What then? I dont think you'd like that very much at all. That created second class citizens and its a shame that we need laws that say you have to treat everyone equally or nobody.

It’s illegal yes, to refuse service based on someone’s race, religion, etc. So all you need to do is sue and maybe get that fat settlement money

You don’t have to insist they make the cake, and I think in the case of the baker, other gay couples came after that demanding their cakes. They can’t say they demand lawsuit settlement money, but we all know that’s the real reason. No person not fishing for a lawsuit goes to someone who prepares food that they know doesn’t like them for WHATEVER reason

And in regards to the felony for poisoning, the court isn’t standing by while they bake the cake. Is there a spit test they are going to employ? Go ahead and sue, cash your settlement check, and leave them alone, don’t insist they still make your food, and DEFINITELY don’t eat anything they make for you after that

I would definetly want that person in prison if they were out poisoning people with their spit or doing any behavior outside of the health and safety regulations they agreed to when they opened the shop with the county. We have a health dept for a reason.

Fact is, it shouldnt matter whos wedding your baking the cake for. Thats the whole thing. You signed an agreement when you opened the business stating you would not have any prejudice or practices outside of the law or human rights. Its in every form to start a business. You already gave your word that you would not refuse service based on religion, sexuality, race, and all the stuff protected under the civil rights act.

So you're saying that we should let people run business's who lied through their teeth signing the contract, committed fraud while opening it with no intention of upholding their end of the contract, then let them stay in business while everyone else has to uphold their end.

Nope.

It shouldnt matter who just got banned from twitter for breaking the rules they agreed to.
