All I keep hearing is "She should be allowed to break their TOS whenever and however many times she likes. Shes a special class of user that doesnt have to obey any rules. Everyone else has to though."

Nope. You elect senators, not special twitter users.

Not you, unsung.

Jib not really wrong. It's undeniably seen as "right wing" or even potentially "extremist" to do something as innocuous as have an american flag on your car or something. I can't think of many other countries in the world where, living in that country as a citizen and expressing support for and\or pride in that country is seen as bad or even dangerous. Like, what the fuck happened?
Still definitely less likely to get your car or home vandalized with a flag than with a Trump sticker or a don’t tread on me flag

Highest risk of vandalism: Confederate flag, Trump sticker, Don’t tread on me snake, Thin Blue Line flag

Moderate/low risk of vandalism: American flag

Lowest risk of vandalism: Biden/Harris sticker, or nothing (my preference)

From where I stand and I firmlly believe this.

the anti american rhetoric that weve been listning to aruond the world all our lives won.

In 2016 the citizens of the left took up against our country, they were convinced it is terrible, the worst country in the world.

Every liberal watched that clip on NEWSROOM where jeff daniels ranted about how we're not #1 and they all ate it up like it was mana from heaven.

Now instead of america being hated because it was the chad, it's hated because its the loser that hates itself.

Trump used the nihilists to win because bannon knew he could manipulate them, and he did, the trump rhetoric was so strong in 2015 online in gaming forums.

The dark web became the web.

It's just a self hating navel gazing loser nation now.

The end began in 2016 but it wasn't trump, it was the nation that gave up.

We began the collapse and will continue to collapse until everyone's savings are gone mark my words.

Europe, as it threatens their fellow neighbors. Soccer pride is OK.

No I agree making Twitter posts is in no way part of a politician’s job description. And the fact these people have to beg their way to be unbanned 4 different times is just embarrassing and sad to me

Just take the L and walk away IMO

I don't think anyone is arguing that though Gravy, they are arguing that the things she posted shouldn't *be* violations of their rules in the first place. And also that they enforce their rules asymmetrically and arbitrarily. Faucci is now saying things that would have been deemed "medical misinformation" like two months ago.

Imagine eating so much paste that you think just flying the American flag is some kind of an extreme right-wing statement.

haha, the message is now spread to the people directly via smartphones.. who even watches TV anymore (I tossed mine in 2000). You can win the political and cultural wars that way, but you are subject to a CEO and his company rules.

But they are though... It doesnt matter how we feel about it. I could hate it too, doesnt make a difference. I dont even use twitter at all. I think its a sewer of bullshit. Twitter is not sovereign, its not governing itself. Shes even allowed to make the statements. You cant get banned for not posting it.. You had to have posted it, first. Their ball, their game.

Problem is they need twitter and FB but they cry all day about how they are gonna stand up to silicon valley soy boys!
