Last Week Tonight leans heavily to the left, but its HBO and like Bill Maher's show, they rip apart both sides of the political spectrum

I watch it, and he's usually right

I guess I like alot of the humor? often very british "humour" ofc.

John Oliver and his staff have been able to dig deep into our society/government and they always highlight something going on that is truly fucked up, and ~98% of the time, they are spot on correct. They really push the bar, hard, with how far they can go to piss off nefarious businessmen and other bad actors, big time shaming events.

John Oliver is like if Bill Maher was perpectually pissed off and still funny about it, the guy is gonna have a heart attack sooner than later, or maybe he's like if Shawn Hannity were a skinny liberal british guy.
