Sure, globalization is a good idea if you can get all players to agree on an ideology that would progress to what relates in science, biology and philosophy. When you take a look at the world and what philosophies are successful, you can go back to the United States as the longest and more powerful nation to EVER exist. It was founded under specific ideologies that align with Republicans. People want to change that to a system to one that isn't the most successful. If you're progressing for success as the human race and what would advance you the quickest, you want to align with an ideology that would make you the most successful.
And even under that premise of being the most successful, someone could reasonably argue that one race would accelerate that but we also want a balance of morals and progress. Right now, our original laws are the only ones that afford those.
