I don't know I think those card games are all much nerdier than Pokemon. Who decided these ratings I call for a review.
Magic is the least nerdy and most competitive / skill intensive. Many pro players went on to very successful careers playing poker (David Williams, Brock Parker, Eric Froehlich, Eric Kesselman) or other ventures (Finkel was in hedge funds)

I think Kyle Sanchez once compared it to a combination of chess and poker.

D&D players are the worst, that has to be the bottom tier.
I'm rustled by that statement.

4th edition was fun for one campaign, then we all realized it wasn't really D&D and sold our books and went back to 3.5 despite its issues.

Nilbog made me jelly posting his AD&D book the other day and saying he was reading up on it for a game he was DMing on the weekend.

I'm going to fire up all my old AD&D books one day, right after we finish with my 2nd edition Shadowrun campaign. I've almost run all the good published modules. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

We have dudes at our shop that play "RL D&D" every week and basically pretend to be alternate versions of themselves in a fantasy scenario.

It's cringe worthy

and i agree on the magic part

Only until you're the guy that gets to scream lightning bolt and huck a tennis ball at the other dude's face. Then it's awesome.

The skills I've acquired playing project 1999 have helped me immensely in Munchkin. I can rule lawyer my way out of anything.

I was very torn between:
stfu,tiggles
and
Bush knocked down the towers

In the end, I had to go with the truth: stfu, tiggles
