That's such a lame answer. It takes more time and effort to RMT than to transfer gear. Plus weren't you in a pretty sizable guild? They can't help with gear transfers for you??

Actually, no, it doesn't take more time and effort. Once I bought that plat I was able to gear some alts and never had to bother with transferring after doing it once. I also despise using people to transfer items so 97.5% of the time I would find a 'safe' area, park both my toons there and drop and grab bags that I wanted to xfer. I've got trust issues when it comes to online games and their players.
As for my guild, I guess it is a decent size. I've never really found a helpful guild though, except for when I was in Harmony last summer, which in all honesty is a pretty big bummer. Sure I have had a few guild members help me with a xfer but that's where it ends pretty much. I think I have only gotten help once, maybe twice in Illuminati, not even that much in my previous guilds, with the exception of Harmony. When I was in Harmony I was always doing something with my guild mates. All the other guilds I have joined since, like Illuminati, has just been a gigantic, and usually pointless, chore to do just about anything. 9 times out of 10 no one even responds to a request or potential group. I still like the people though, they are fun to talk with, when they actually reply. So I have stuck around.
