That was the bit that rankled. I kept going even after hearing the rewards weren't good. It was a diverting enough quest and it had no clear end point but I wanted to finish it tonight. I was just about to do the Kunark turn-in and move on to Velious and fizzle. Bleah. Not going to say it ruined my Halloween or anything but it was a letdown. Hoping the next will go better.

i totally agree. i knew the reward would be near nothing, but it was insulting to have the time of my friends wasted by having the npc's poof so soon. not to mention having all the masks poof out of my inventory when i received the final treat.

I guess after reading the comments I don't feel so bad for not being able to participate. At level 8 I'd be lucky to have done any of these quests.

So I run around for hours trying to get 16 quest items. I pay for ports, get lost repeatedly, and get 12 out of 16 items in and you deactivate the quest? Did you even say how long the quest was going to last? Halloween isn't even over yet!

Screw you guys for doing that. You should have let the people who had items collect the rest of them. Thanks for ruining my Halloween. At least the people who got their crappy prize got a prize. I was willing to do this til the end even for that crappy prize. But instead, I got nothing but wasted time and a lighter bank account.

lol i knew this event was complete trash when i realized you had to port all over the place, and i stopped in NK, but i( like many) wanted to finally do an event and finish it. but i knew it was going to be a shit show, like the velious event...
