Also in me sayin I am not bias. I prefer to think I am not biased, I really have no connection or affiliation other than wearing the tag for porting. Which honestly if you are porting to make plat, that's really just the smart thing to do if it helps you advertise and keeps ya busy unless you have some type of grudge, and if so that's perfectly understandable also.

I don't dismiss that the claims of the OP aren't true, but a blanket statement against DAP because of a small minority is similar to generalizing the P99 community as 'toxic' due to the actions of a minority of players which we all know is not true.

I've been in Dial a Port for a long time. Granted, I don't play much, but when I do the guild is always very friendly and accommodating. I am not aware of a blacklist, or any sort of shenanigans. Many of my guildies genuinely enjoy porting other players. Tips are nice but are never required. The original intention of the guild was to make it EASY for the community to find a port. A rule of "CRs are always free" was in place when I joined as was free newbie transports. We've saved hundreds of erudites from the terrors of Tox forest and brought them in touch with the rest of the world. I've seen guildies answer the "call of qeynos" or "call of everfrost" numerous times to pickup a newbie, port them, run them to a town, and bind them so they could play with a friend. I expect nothing but a thank you and hope that the experience I provided was enough to set the good natured tone of the community for a new player.

As far as /anon goes... personally I sometimes get slammed with tells and can't keep up. If I don't respond and toss up /anon it's not because I'm purposely being an asshole, it's because I missed it and anon to stop the influx of new tells. I could do better, and strive to as I never want to leave a player hanging, but shit happens.

Respectfully let me stop you there. I don't think people understand just how many druids and wizards there are online on this server at any given time. Excluding DaP.

Food for Thought. (sorry Tupakk)

I do know. Do you?

The "/who all XXXX count" command isn't some sort of state secret. Druids are generally the most common class online at any given time of day. Wizards aren't very popular and usually sit in the bottom 4 or so.

I make very little use out of Dial-a-port. I might've used them twice in the past year, if even that. Sense of entitlement is right when folks act like ports-on-demand are somehow mandatory to even play the game (they aren't).

The last Dial a Bum I called ported me to the wrong zone and gated out to leave me there, so beware.
