I just dont see a peaceful solution with NK I mean how are you supposed to just forgive the prison camps and extermination of undesirables during the famine?

If that regime is able to stay in power, after generations of war crimes, just so we can avoid a war? That seems crazy to me.

I don't either. Our nukes vs japan was an attempt to stave off total war.

Id say there is about a 80% to 90% chance we will get to go to war with them before 2020 and them making trump look like a fool is going to be the main reason.

I hope that doesnt happen. I kinda would rather trump for the next 8 years than dirty korean total warnukin. Maybe they was getting ready to push the button, and Trump is just the right person to have r now. IDK. Possible.

I think their state will collapse again if we can avoid war some how. Either by being really scary or really diplomatic and making them dependent.

actaully I think their state will proliferate with foriegn aid.

However if the conditions are you have to let us tour all your camps regularly and have UN/American military stationed in your country, we're going to find out that they are totally not hav'n that.

And if they are not having that, then there should be no aid.

If there is no aid, then there will be war. Or they will have a coup and the regime will collapse and, with a small war, they will become property of China/Skorea, which will result in a MAJOR war.

So either aid and forgiveness and trust, OR war.

IMO that is the reality. But what the hell do I know about the reality over there. Anything goes, but this is my guess.

Rare Earth minerals. Shit's economic. Let them ruin their local environment with mining like China did using US made equipment and planning. As long as Un plays ball then he has nothing to worry about because we need those minerals.
