Maybe not maturity per se -- like pubic hair and breast development -- but mature behavior, sure.

Frankly, though, I wouldn't call my own exploits in-game nor on the forums particularly mature. I mean, at best I'm being socially acceptable in a video-game world, right? Real grown-up stuff, right there.

In any event, maturity is kinda subjective. I find the inability to read sarcasm or take a harmless ribbing extremely immature. I think folks who take themselves too seriously are under-evolved. I'm a man in my thirties who plays a video game for fun and posts on forums for the same reason. I can't speak for everyone else, but I'm not here to prove anything to anyone. I'm here because I gain gratification from dick jokes.

This server really isn't as bad as it's portrayed, coming from a fellow EQCer. Stick to certain zones and you'll not want for a group. You can do rarer zones though by forming your own group. EQC is dead, unless HK can attract more developers and retain them unlike YL.
