Default wineq

I am just going to toss this out here because it is something I noticed and have done a little testing on my end.

I think wineq is related to this problem. Just running the Launch Titanium BAT file I can not only log in and zone with no issues but it works while the wineq version does not. This encompasses all the issues I have seen and the problems immediately come back when I switch back to the wineq version.

Sadly abandoning wineq is not an option for me due to the game being utterly unplayable without it.

this issue has gotten much better for me lately, crossing my fingers though.

The problem still persists, but it seems as if it has gotten more stable until the past week or so. I have a feeling it could have something to do with population density, and considering I am not the only person that is having these exact issues (as well as seeing people disappear and reappear) on a hardline, it leads me to believe so. It could also be due to a graphics issue, considering when it happens, if I do not restart my PC afterward, I also have graphic issues where certain parts of the axis will disappear when facing certain concrete directions. Unfortunately, I have not found any solid cardinal direction that is happens on in any numerous situations so I can not make the distinction between.

Aviann that is not a patch related bug. Textures disappearing when you face different directions is a client bug that took the eqlive devs ages to fix.

ruled this out for me. when I play at my friends house on his shitty economy internet I have none of these problems. When I play on verizon 50mb pipe I have all these problems all the time. This is using the same laptop in both places. seems to be an issue with the routing or firewalls or something like that...
This^ On home cable modem....Lagged out of game last night, couldn't get to server select after, couldn't even open P99 web site to check for issues...could hit google, etc just fine. Speedtest showed good connection. Tried logging in for 20-30 mins, and finally decided to switch to my work mifi connection, logged in 1st try with no issues rest of the night.

Some isps block certain ports ( could not get on p99 at hotel tried to hack but no dice) sometimes its the router. Sometimes its the network traffic.

3 netflixes on at my house = no login server, crash on zones, camping, moving)

Hope you all figure it out.

I'm having the same issues, and today I can't even get into the game. Has anyone tried reinstalling to see if that fixes it?

I did a clean install despite others saying it did not solve their issue. No surprise, it did not solve my issue.

It does seem to happen less frequently when server population is low. I spent all morning from about 8:30AM EST - 3:30PM EST porting from OT to various locations without any zoning issues. Now I am crashing again (didn't log or do anything different). I have also played on red and experienced the same issues pretty regularly. I notice that if I am ONLY playing red it happens a lot less frequently but once I start crashing on blue I almost always crash on red the next time I zone.

*Edit* I have a wiindows desktop and an install on my mac laptop via wineskin that both have the same issue although I seem to crash less often using wineskin.
