What show were you watching?

Some people turn on Fox News, don't realize it's some conservative's talk show, and then talk about how it is so biased because.... they watched part of O'Reilly or Huckabee or Hannity or something. Or they somehow interpret 'we are talking to this Republican Congressman' as being biased, even though they have just as many Democratic congressman appearing and giving their opinions on issues.

Seriously though OP, state what you say that made you so upset and state when you watched it and what you were watching.

I find that 99% of people who bash Fox News, haven't actually watched Fox News, beyond the clips that Jon Stewart shows them on the Daily Show. Honestly though, their 'news' when they are covering news, is indistinguishable from MSNBC's or CNN's coverage.

I'm not saying that Fox News is this great news channel or news source or anything. Neither are ANY of the major networks. Just pointing out that most people who bash Fox News, don't really get that their normal news coverage doesn't have blatant bias and is just 'as bad' as any major news network. It just boggles me how many people are so outspoken about how horribly biased Fox News is who actually think their normal newscasts have blatantly visible conservative bias - they just don't.

Glenzig summarized it best: "There are no unbiased news sources. You are supposed to pick the one that most closely fits your predetermined worldview and defend it religiously. A neutral, unbiased news agency would get almost zero ratings. People like having their ears tickled."

That is why. Their liberal masters tell them what to hate and they do. Just like how the fox crowd hates CNN/MSNBC/etc but thinks their own station is any better. When it comes down to it they are all foolish.

Those are the same idiots who think they're being clever and witty when they call it "Faux News". Like no one's heard that one a few million times already.

Not I. I don't own a gun, does that make me a hypocrite?

inb4: no but 'blablabla' does. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
No. It make your views insincere. The governing question of sincerity then becomes an exploration of actual effectiveness.

I'm confused. I don't own a gun but believe in the right to own a gun, this is insincere why? Gun free zones don't work, this is demonstrably true.
