I get that I am "Unable to load eqw.dll"

I have it pointing to the right directory and eqw.dll is in there

Overwrote all the files in the folder it needed to? And did u add it last? If you did it in the middle one of its files may have gotten changed. I would try extracting it into the folder again.

I followed the step-by-step guide linked earlier in the dropbox. I'll try reextracting it

Check the properties on the file. Make sure its not read only...maybe...grasping at straws at this point but it seems like a rights issue. I would check the tak tech forum as well. They have some good threads in there.

One thing to note is that the installation has to be in C:\EQMac, If you put it somewhere else you have to edit the EQW.ini to point it in the correct folder.

So, I've done everything and i'm getting same "Exception Processing Message 0xc0000135" message followed by "Failed to Load Graphics DLL". I followed the link for the microsoft redistributable link and it said both my Direct X and Microsoft C++ Redistributable package already had a newer version installed. Is this what i want or should I want the older versions for EQ?
