In America you could literally tell somneone you want to kill kids in school and they won't arrest you.
Country is not authoritarian enough yet IMO. (i dont think they should take guns, just freedumbs)

“European countries have had their share of school shootings, although not as frequently as in the United States or Canada. These include eight in Germany since 1913, one in Lithuania (1925), one in Sweden (1961), three since 1967 in the United Kingdom (none after the 1996 massacre), three in Finland since 1989, two in the Netherlands (1999 and 2004), one in Denmark (1994), one in Hungary (2009), two in France (2012 and 2017), one in Estonia (2014), Spain (2015), at least five in Russia since 2014 (including events in May and Seotember 2021), one in Crimea (2018), and one in Poland (2019, no deaths)”
I don’t have a huge problem pushing it to 21 to purchase a firearm (normally in my state it’s 21 to buy a pistol but someone can buy a rifle at 18) I don’t have a problem with mandatory waiting periods either personally. I also don’t think either of these will prevent school shootings as much as responsible gun ownership would. Most 18 year olds don’t have the money to buy a gun, they are usually given them by shitty stupid family members, or else take them without their knowledge

Wow, again loramin with the "hey if you look at this one specific, narrow sample, it's sort of higher in a specific way if you're measuring "mass shootings" by some arbitrary definition you just made up!"
That's not how statistics work. But even if it was, what is your point? An armed guard in that school would have almost certainly prevented that. And let's say you could somehow magically wave a wand and only cops would have guns? Cool, fine, there should STILL be an armed guard in that school cause the psycho who did this could have just stabbed a bunch of kids instead. Make a coherent argument, pearl clutching about the scary guns is just an insanely low resolution way of thinking about this problem.

You just didn't like how that objective 3rd party contradicted your incorrect view of reality.

Confirmation bias is a real pain in the ass.

The only time you'll year someone say this is unbiased is when it confirms theirs.
