The woke stuff, is not, not there. Like I definitely was like, "is there going to be any male characters in this game??" Eventually you meet one though. The AI is terrible and easy to defeat like, it's not a hard game at all. Im getting a little board of running errands and finding data pads over and over. On PC the controls are like playing everquest. Would make a great everquest style SW game if you could delete all the story and just make it open world loot hunter.

It’s so odd you guys are discussing BG as I just started a new play through. I had downloaded the ‘new’ expansion to Bg so i could play thru that with my old character, but I couldn’t find the file to import my character so I’ve started again.
Decided to go for wizard slayer. It feels like a less complicated version of fighter so I can focus getting thru the game instead of going too deep into planning button pressing. Figured wizard slayer made sense after seeing Gorion torn apart by magics in some kind of magical vendetta- the pendulum swung the other ways and the character now loaths wizardry. Specialised in quarter staff tho - obviously still was taught how to walk and fight in Candlekeep after all! Pump out a lot of swings with a lot of +dmg per hit! It feels strange going back to 2nd ed or whatever after immersing myself in 5th.

I've always preferred the more complex rules of 2nd edition. I won't say 5th edition isn't fun as I've played both it and PF2E, but I prefer good ole "AD&D 2nd edition".
