You could have called out Penish for bad behavior instead of joining in, for example. Clearly you have no interest in letting this thread die. You just keep doubling down and acting foolish.

I'm not a troll but I really do enjoy reading threads about game mechanics, theory crafting, etc. I see a post with like ten plus pages and I'm like yeah! Then invariably they end up being DSM arguing with people who disagree with him. It's just so frustrating and annoying and the fact that you respond to everyone with a huge post defending yourself when a large majority of the posters are openly mocking you or calling you out makes me wonder if you are actually trolling all of us. You have a lot of "attackers" but I rarely (honestly not sure if ever) have seen someone defending you. That's pretty telling, honestly.

Stop blaming people being trolled and blame the trolls. Thats how it stops. People don't want to be trolled, so they stay silent. The trolls gang up on people to give the illusion multiple people disagree. It's a very clear pattern in these threads. I have multiple examples of these trolls disagreeing with me in one thread, only to agree with me on the same topic in another.

I enjoy those conversations too.

Penish and I could have had a productive mechanics conversation if he didn't group with me for the sole purpose of attacking me. Why do you keep ignoring that and go after me instead?

If you want productive conversations, don't encourage the trolls to do this. They want to stop conversations they disagree with. The conversations you enjoy.

It’s a fact know by few but you can trim down “content” by adding people to your own ignore filter.

Otherwise I agree. As a mechanics nerd I love this game. Most these these threads start good and taper off by about 30% of the length. The last 70% is restating the same opinions/facts and bickering.

This thread was shut down on page 1. The rest is just cacophony. I highly suggest you use the ignore filter.

I contribute a lot here, or try to. I don’t need to lecture people on the forum for their manners. I could care less who’s rude, or trolling. I’ll pick my battles, there is enough misunderstanding about the game and people who want to learn new stuff.
