Things get changed on this server, just like on live, all the time and they are discovered through mob interaction. Part of being a competitive guild is learning how to use those various changes to your advantage. When they changed the pathing in PoF to dissuade poopsocking I didn't hear people screaming "That's unfair! It only helps IB!" Please explain to me how a pathing icy terror ,that IB must deal with on Vox as well, gives us any advantage over every other guild? "Oh, well you guys knew about!" So did everyone else.

I've seen people banned for using MQ and Show EQ, that's definitely not allowing corruption. Duping has been brought to a virtual halt compared to how it was earlier on the server. Again, this is fighting against corruption.

I'm not going to say anything about DA knowing the specific spawn times about mobs because honestly I think it, again, is just people looking at circumstances and assuming the worst. It's like the guy who thinks we literally all have multiple 50's camped at every target which is ludicrous.

The way I see it you WANT there to be corruption so you twist any scenario into an illustration of it. Back in 1999 servers had sever specific GMs. Do you know why this ended? Because GMs were joining guilds on their server. It's known that Nilbog, Rogean, and Uthgaard don't play in raiding guilds and also that they don't get paid to work on this project. It is in their interest to combat potential corruption because it makes their project more successful. Have you read the articles about P99? Seen the videos on youtube? People in the industry are watching this community because, much like the original Everquest, it's changing the way online gaming is approached. We are the counter culture to the trends you see in WoW and other major titles, thus people like Rogean and Nilbog have the potential to parlay this experience into an actual profession down the road. If they are busted breaking the integrity of what classic Everquest stood for to the raiding culture (competition, no freebies, harsh penalties for failure along with a finite amount of endgame loot compared to instanced games) then their work would carry an asterisk forever.

So please, spare me the "GMs did this for you and let DA do that!" cause it's all bullshit. They have continually hammered cheaters, exploiters, and griefers and all in all I would say this server carries more balance and integrity than any live EQ server did back in 1999 or the early 2000's.

The best part is, people on the forums throwing tantrums and always looking for excuses as to why they lost a spawn are the most accurate anachronism we find on p99. You guys complete the "immersion".

This man is one of the more respectable IB members I have ever encountered. I hope good sports like this don't leave for the progression server. Truth be told lots of assholes are disrespectful to people like this.

Newsflash: using the term "blue" doesn't make you any harder or tougher. You are no more skilled than 90% of this server. (A large percentage who have frequented or played primarily on pvp servers anyways.)

PVP in EQ is a sideshow. It is secondary, always was and will be, to PVE.

I love the conspiracy theories on this server. Obv pure objectivity is impossible so there is probably some degree of bias and/or favoritism. I think they do a better job than I would though. I think I'd just award the spawn to the person who whined the least in any dispute.
