Zone pulls weren't a thing in classic EQ because they weren't easily done, not nearly as easily as here, because P99 is missing several hate mechanics from classic EQ:

Specifically, NPCs in trains on the same faction should be sharing their hate lists with each other when they run past each other (simultaneous TRAIN TO NORTH / TRAIN TO WEST shouldn't be possible), and the proximity bonus for hate should be in place, which would also fix classic bard charm-kiting as a happy side-effect.

Oh and it shouldn't be possible to mallet named out of a train, casting spells on belly casters outside of range shouldn't generate additional hate.

We've got a whole server of guilds here thinking they're better than Afterlife/FoH in the classic era just because mechanics here are half-implemented and easy-mode. Smh.
