Item has been destroyed as no loot rules were established beforehand and no attempt made by Pamila to compromise.

Lessons to be taken away
1) Greed before decency is king on P99.
2) Ninja'ing has no real penalties*
*unless the person petitions, then you just wont get the loot.

The standard loot system is assuredly not NBG, its greed rolls. If an item drops, everyone rolls whether they can use it or not.

You're right that people are finally getting it and i'm seeing a trend where everyone rolls on tradeable items, which is the most fair system and how it should be.

But that terminology is backwards because FR (Free roll / everyone rolls) is actually NBG. Greed is when you don't let anyone else roll because only you can equip it while in reality everyone can use.

I'm still kinda mad that I passed on a braided cinch cord (500p item that I could also use on an alt) in a partial guild group because someone invoked "NBG" and I didn't stand up for what was right because I didn't want to deal with the ignorant backlash.

And that doesn't mean i'm never generous. I've given a Ghoulbane away before, but I still like to have a chance at getting loot I deserve to roll on.

Either way, the point is the same. Whether it's greed or NBG rolls, the point is that you roll on it unless you agree to another system beforehand. Pamila did not specify another system.

As an aside, I haven't been in any group that doesn't by default operate by NBG within the past year, but either way as I mentioned above the point in this scenario is the same regardless.

I always say let the dice decide but usually the groups I have been a part of do go NBG granted its lower level and stuff is only a couple hundred plat at this point.
