you still can... but you probably want instant gratification instead of a gated system that makes sure you know how to play a champ before you attempt to play them in competitive play

I don't play any game competitively. I just play for fun after work. I didn't know we were talking about competitive play. I can't comment on that style of DOTA2 or LOL.

I thought Dota 2 was too slow and passive. I enjoy the pace of League better.

This. DoTA, DoTA 2 and HoN got me really into MOBAs, but League is where I will stay for awhile.

Hmm that's kind of a strange concept to me. I don't mean to say that League isn't fun.. but if I were not playing to do my best, improve, and ultimately win then it would become pretty non-fun fast for me.

I can only have fun on a MOBA if I'm playing competitively.. otherwise I would go play a game with a story or something.

I guess LoL has lore.. but fuck if I care about that stuff lol.
