Except sometimes the high traffic crossings get congested and fresh product dies at the border that is a crisis.

Well I live in a border state, a friend of mine stumbled onto a cartel pot growing operation with cameras up while on a hike, was followed out of the woods by a Jeep and her friend’s car had a bullethole in the back they noticed a few days later

Food banks here that I frequent for work are full of undocumented people and they don’t check citizenship, shelter beds same, any social service basically doesn’t check citizenship and they all have limited supply, all of which could have gone to a citizen but didn’t. My job has limited staff and we are tied up helping undocumented people about 10% of the time (or higher depending on the area). Taking up ER beds at hospitals etc

So yeah, it has an impact. And not even talking about potential low skill jobs they are taking from citizens. If no citizen wants to scrub toilets, that shop owner will eventually have to pay enough to entice a citizen to want to do it (aka a fairer wage), but not when an illegal will do it pennies per hour cash under the table

And as a typical internet shit talker I will just pivot points completely and say, it seems to me that the border is exactly as intended by our government.

The "Crisis" I am referring to is the one that trump talks about like all of a sudden every night thousands of zombies are storming across the border to the USA and its just a matter of time before they reach you.

The immigration process to the USA is a joke, and then if you have a rich company you can basically afford to have the USA grant you the ability to hire out of country like all the tech industry scums who won't lift a finger to train a US citizen in the skills they need but are happy to import tailor made individuals trained to do nothing except exactly the job google needs them to do that never had to bother with all the non-career specific aspects of USA education. Meanwhile the USA geek can't find a job once he gets his USA bachelors degree that trained him to do nothing.

Its the same crisis as everything else, a corrupt easy to buy out government going after the quick buck. All received expert training by the USA system that teaches you (implicitly) and sometimes explicitly that the only thing that matters is the dollar. Yet we all decide its somehow okay that its common knowledge and objectively documented that the law applies differently to a rich person having an encounter with it, than when a poor person has an encounter with it.

The only way to have true justice is to regard eachother the same way we would regard our own little sister, or anyone else we care deeply about. If we aren't willing to sell eachother down the river, no one can sell us down the river.

Its you and all the random people you happen to have in your life. I'm not saying you need to go down to the druggiest corner of town and find someone there and just say hey it looks like you need help, would you like all of my money and to live in and to destroy my house?

Don't worry about how to deal with a problem like that, when you are faced with a person that needs help, you will deal with it rationally. Just try to love everyone the best you can, some people it is easier and some people it is harder. Just do the very best that you can and you will become an expert in no time.

Last 2 things to mention:

We are the world record holder for number of immigrants taken in. Number 1 in the world. To Dems though, there’s no such thing as enough. It doesn’t matter how congested our cities get, how much our social services get taxed, the sky is the limit. We have 330 million people, and if a Dem said it would be ridiculous to invite a hypothetical figure like 330 million immigrants in within the next 10 years, they would probably be called a xenophobe by their own party. That is a huge problem, when no one anywhere in the Dem party will acknowledge that we are the best in the world at taking in immigrants and no one will give anything close to a limit on what is “fair” to take in

Secondly, fentanyl is out of control here in az. I’ve seen probably 4 different people in the last few weeks who report addicted to “smokin the blues” (apparently all our fentanyl here are little blue pills), the OD’s they see, and the violent withdrawal they go through when they stop. The caveat here is that legal citizens can traffic drugs too, but when you are bringing them across a border over an unfenced section not checked by border patrol, it’s just as easy for it to be an illegal as a citizen
