PVP is presently all hype. Unlike the hype about Tera's graphics and Action Combat System, there is nothing to support the hype about PVP. Crafting, Enchanting, PVE drops and quests can all impact a player's experience more then pvp, and this is the game on a "pvp" server. That shows the focus of the developers. They don't want to upset players with PVP penalties. It's ok to upset players with failed crafts and enchants, both of which require no skill. But upset a player with a penalty from pvp? Oh no, we wouldn't want to do that.

Yes, I am aware of the chance to break a crystal. Yes, I am aware of the 60 second penalty from losing your stamina. These are very minor inconveniences, not penalties. If I try to kill someone in a video game I want my opponent to do every thing possible to avoid dying. He should run, log, fight back, pop potions, call friends and anything else he can think of to avoid dying. If my opponent dies he should be upset, possibly screaming on Teamspeak, slamming his desk. Personally I would like it if whenever I killed a player they were disconnected from the game and had to log back in. That would be a good penalty! Not as good as blowing up their power supply, but it would work.

Non factor in eq bashing pvp in another game on eq forum = fail

Presently you can kill anyone as pk, and it forces them back to a city and requires them to find or use a campfire to regen their stamina. Breaking crystal is also a huge inconvenience, especially if its a rare crystal.

Beyond that, combat is based on aim which is unprecedented in a triple A title. You have to completely rethink the way you play your character as opposed to a tab target game. Shits sweet, and bashing it means you are either bad, or haven't experienced it for yourself (lvl 20+).

Furthermore, if you got logged out after dying, it would make you quit in a day, because your a nonfactor in the games you play based on evidence at r99 and spaceballs online.

Troll elsewhere.

The fact that you don't know who I am shows how aloof you are and little you matter when up until this week I played hours daily for the last 4 months.
