![]() doesn't everyone feel like humans are irredeemable though? very very few actually want to wipe out the species, but everybody is just like ugh with people I imagine thats why so many prefer their pets over actual human friends

AI still tries too hard to make hot girls visually perfect, and im not sure it will ever be able to understand the perfection found in imperfection, if it does it'll be the last bit of surreal in the uncanny valley that it has to conquer.

![]() the amount of progress over a short amount of time is insane though, compared to other tech that has taken decades
if you got like 10 images 5 ai and 5 real of that quality, most people on the street would fail, just like all the chatbots can beat the turing test now because the average person can be tricked if you only allow around 10 questions back in forth or w/e the the test is the first of this type of AI generated images happened during Covid lol, 5 years is fucking bonkers

![]() There's also a distinct lack of noise artifacts that all actual photographs have. And I dunno what's going on with the border of the right corn dog. Looks like when you magic wand select something and then remove what's around it without anti-aliasing.
And yeah the rate of progress is definitely pretty astounding in any case.
