Regarding your Rathe mountain giant kiting, there are vendors in zone who sell gems. It'd save a lot of time running to the bank.

I recommend noone use this guide considering OP has griefer pvp toons in every zone mentioned in the guide. I recommend new players use the guide as a where not to level/get plat guide.
