The TLP server does require a DBG All Access subscription. Project 1999, of course, does not.

Wow, that is amazing. I've never even heard of a deal like this. Congrats to both p1999 and Daybreak. I think Daybreak will buy a lot of community goodwill with this move.

Thumbs up Subbing to all access out of respect

Well I just subscribed to an SOE all access pass out of respect for the admirable decision Daybreak Games has made here and the respect they've shown to P1999 as a fan-based labor of love based on a beloved IP of theirs. I think it's only fair that as long as they continue to support P1999 that they get some money from me, if I'm playing P1999. Sure P1999 did all the work to make P1999 a reality, and they also get my money, but Daybreak has done something here I've never even heard of. That is deserving of something for sure.

Kudos!

Hell I'd welcome P99 being bought out if only for this crew to gain more manpower to make patching more than a semi annual matter.

You gonna release some custom content now. to ease the strain on folk who are sick of kunark?!

...or at least do some gm events(properly) for one not like the unkillable gods event.

It nice you get to pop some champagne corks, but shower the playerbase some of the goodwill also. [double exp for a bit?]
