The appeal to pride isn't the best way to motivate. It usually works good on kids especially middle schoolers and high schoolers but in the end it develops a pretty fragile motivation platform and pride is itself a vice and one of the more difficult ones to overcome, often considered the root of all other vices.

But yeah I'm glad Target and Amazon were able to "weather this storm" "together" with us and come out way on top so robustly. It must have just been their really smart business practices. Small businesses just aren't smart enough so they deserve to be shut down. Probably it would be best if we kicked the teeth of their owners in too so they can look funny.

Er yes it is. Because the company was freely allowed to sell it to anyone across the globe and would have made a lot of money regardless. The company is not required to make the product, they’re not required to sell it to the US government they are free to not make it or sell it to anyone else who they want. Obviously a good business decision would be to sell it to the government that is guaranteeing purchases from you and enforcing mandates but you’re not required to do that.
