Again, you've done nothing to facilitate an affable conversation, but this time you've spouted, like an attention seeking child, an ignorant quip.

Sure ^^

what does that have to do with being "strange to take pride in shit you made others build?" are you suggesting the prison system is some sorta engine for economic growth, technological advancement and social progress? generally curious because this is going a different direction ^^
Paul McCartney - "Another Day"

Every Day She Takes A Morning Bath To Wet Her Hair,
Wraps A Towel 'round Her
As She's Heading For The Bedroom Chair,
It's Just Another Day.
Slipping Into Stockings,
Stepping Into Shoes,
Dipping In The Pocket Of Her Raincoat.
It's Just Another Day.

At The Office Where The Papers Grow She Takes A Break,
Drinks Another Coffee
And She Finds It Hard To Stay Awake,
So Sad, So Sad,
Sometimes She Feels So Sad.
Alone In Her Apartment She'd Dwell,
Till The Man Of Her Dreams Comes To Break The Spell.

Ah, Stay, Don't Stand Her Up
And He Comes And He Stays
But He Leaves The Next Day,
So Sad.
Sometimes She Feels So Sad.

As She Posts Another Letter To The Sound Of Five,
People Gather 'Round Her
And She Finds It Hard To Stay Alive,

It's Just Another Day. Du Du Du Du Du
It's Just Another Day. Du Du Du Du Du
It's Just Another Day.

It sounds like a new age Young Republicans Club or John Birch society to me. You haven't refuted to me that these people (who I've admitted are NOT white supremacists) are far more likely to befriend a white supremacist or several, and rally/march with them than an average member of the public. This is just par for the course when you are in the arena of far-right politics. The same is true of any radical fundamentalist religious people usually (Including some evangelical Christians). Again, the vast majority of these far-right arch conservatives are NOT white nationalists.

The thing that the majority of Americans and many in the industrialized world wished is that you far right conservatives could at least understand that a large amount of your worldviews and politics overlap heavily throughout the world those of racial nationalists and racial extremists.

When you share an internet, radio, & social media diet with the white supremacists some of you act triggered to be called (we know you're feigning shock deary ), either start questioning the propaganda that is programming your thoughts or stop the broken record act of feigning outrage over being called a bigot by some.

Hope this helps
So if you accidentally befriend a white supremacist, would that make you a white supremacist?

No, it wouldn't.

So your argument is literally retarded.

Hope this helps.

Well sonny, many many white Americans in the SF Bay Area and many white Americans in metro areas of the USA whom vote for Dems more often than Repubs are NOT spoiled or rich kids. This is a right-wing myth you have just parroted. There are millions of working class whites around the USA that still will vote for Democratic representatives at times. Yes, they did not really vote for Hillary Clinton like many other millions of moderates, progressives, & independent voters also didn't vote for her.

Look at Orange county, California for an example of wealthy and affluent whites that vote Republican.
By the way, many of them are spoiled and living in a bubble as well, like some wealthy people do regardless of their political persuasion. You can't assume they're overwhelmingly responsible and smart just because they vote for Republican representatives.

Hope this helps dear!
The minority is irrelevant.

The Democrats are coastal elites. Spoiled and rotten.

That's the Left now.

Maybe you didn't get the memo.

I know you're acting like an old grandma, but today's Left is much different than the Pro-Worker party of yesteryear.

this is perhaps the most beautiful ahld post I've had the great pleasure of reading ^^ i don't disagree that slavery played a role in the growth of pre-industrial America, but I don't think we can reliably ascertain the degree of influence or responsibly ascribe the success of America as a whole to it.

Your second point has merit, but carries a particularly dark sense nihilistic connotation (i.e. we cannot be proud of what we are because it was not our choice to be). I tend to look at pride as a form of gratitude unto our forbears, whether we enter this world by choice or not, it is those who came before us who are responsible for where we are.

I attribute a lot of the way a feel about pride and group fidelity to the strong devotion I've been shown by a handful of individuals close to me throughout my life. Each would lay down their life in my defense and overlook my shortcomings while guarding me against my adversaries. that is deeply admirable. that admiration does not however extend to those who arbitrarily extend their fidelity along racial lines, however I can understand how one might fall into that mindset, particularly if his mind is already empty and he feels he is alone.

The white supremacists are going to support one party or the other, for their own reasons. Saying that their policies overlap says nothing because there is no overlap between conservative policies and the white supremacist policy of racial hatred. Conservatives, who are neither bigoted nor racist, do not support the bigoted and racist policies of the white supremacists.
