The problem with twitter is its a hegemonic monopoly. It serves as a information source, but is under the firm control of corporate overlords. They will participate in any plot to control the internet so that they might get a piece of it.

Other than that, it is pretty cool.

You can't really get banned on Twitter for calling me a man.

You can get banned saying I'm some sort of cultural contamination that should be purged with violence. Or calling me an abomination not worthy of liberty or life. By blaming the downfall of society on me with the express purpose of inciting people who are already violent towards me. That's the screaming Fire! in a theatre part.

Also, if you invaded my private records to out me to the public as a "male". That's more of a malicious grey area that falls under harassment and the terms of service. That should definitely be illegal, but is probably not. A-la doxxing.

It's like SCOTUS has established a precedent for maintaining basic civil decency. I wonder what the freightened, weak child will do with such information and notions.
