Wow this shit is long. Read through it all and its about IB members old and new bashing on one another. Its a wonder you guys went *BOOM*. You know what went wrong guys? Look at EC. Just look at it. The REAL point of East Commonlands Tunnel is for people to sit afk with their 1337 gear and hopefully have people inspect them and be like "you're badass."

This is what WoW is - sit in Dalaran with a bunch of peeps to show off your 1337 gear

This is what EQ2 is - sit at the consignment merchant in FP or Qeynos afk to show off your 1337 gear


In fact, that's what MMORPGs have become - selfish conquest for gear so people will think you are 1337.




No matter what happens to IB, another guild arises, and another, and another, to take the place of all the people out to be 1337 and have the best gear instead of the most friends, or the most respect. It's sad really...

When I inspect someone and see all dropped gear - I have zero envy.

When I see someone who has a ton of nodrop 1337 gear, I know they have invested some time in conquest.

Call it greed, I call it glory.

Killing CT and having a feeling of accomplishment, is like coming in 45th place in a 46 man marathon... You're not last but holy hell you're far behind.
