That simply is not true. I logged in maybe 10 minutes before the pop to do a /who and I saw way more BDA than 10. Also we were not going to do a COTH race because we knew that at that time of night our members were getting tired and did not want to sit and stair at their computer screens to win a COTH race. Instead we hoped that you would COTH race it and fail. You did not, you beat the monster VS and got some sweet loots.

On a positive note Neither guild trained each other for this attempt. I was happily surprised to see that.
I agree, one thing that is hammered into your head during FFA stuff is not to train.

But like I said, it didn't matter how many BDA were sitting logged in for this case. Same can be said for most of the encounters in Kunark/Classic (outside of Trakanon) - as long as your guild can respond to a text message in a reasonable time. All that matters is getting the FTE, which takes only poopsock commitments of a few people.

Right? Improvements!

Without an army of nubs and scrubs nothing is dropping at the end of the day

Who really does the work?
No one in BDA feels like anyone in the guild are nubs or scrubs. There is no second class or caste of players.

Also, not sure where the idea of BDA having a zerg or army. Yes there are (were, all characters who weren't active were mostly purged recently) a lot of characters in BDA if you look at the guild database - but the majority are people who are inactive or play rarely. BDA doesn't boot people for being inactive, we have people who come back after a year of absence all the time.

On average, I'd say we have 30 people for most encounters. On sim repops we might get up to 50 because it's exciting.

Track all you want fine sure that's "work"

If you consider work as a unit of time/effort. Or if you consider that the tracking leads to the engage...

And no officers got loot on that VS. No 'inner-circle' did either. 4/5 drop pieces went to people I had never heard of before, so grats them.

Don't forget that every raiding guild on blue would annihilate Holo in PvP and PvE. I don't think a server merge would go well for those guys at all.

Now you wanna talk about standing in line for welfare pixels. On red, the one raiding guild knows exactly when a mob spawns and since there is no competition whatsoever, they show up at whatever time and crank that loot vending machine.
I would LOVE a blue guild copy to prove this right or wrong.

My honest vote is it'd be a better fight than some people like to admit but I see any of the blue guilds going down like dominos in pvp if it was for a week or two every time.

Over a couple months though? I could see your point after they got to adjust.

The real question is, if a blue guild was forced to copy and got stomped for a few weeks... would we or wouldn't we have them in droves on our door step jumping ship asking to join?

Or how about a red week on Blue? Everyone is forced red for a week. Would shake things up. We do it in BDA every now and again, it mostly leads to people killing Chest nonstop.

My motd for VS said something like "if you train the raid I will find where you live and kill you"

No response on my 1/9 vs 1/10. You would still get more mobs! Just have to put in more effort.

And fuck WalMart. This country is 40 years away from being like colonial India, or a revolution. I am pro-revolution myself.

Rich getting richer, poor getting poorer, and people getting dumber.
