Wow, you REALLY love making stuff up.

How are you going to check something you don't know about and weren't involved in? DA joined up with VD to farm the upper islands in sky that were not (and still aren't) tuned properly. They brought every mage possible from both guilds to pet down eye. That was basically the extent of their cooperation.

They also didn't pay them in banked dragon haste because DA didn't have banked dragon haste while they were raiding with VD (we are also not handing out things from our bank so people will like us if that was your implication). At DA's peak they were raiding the 4 Classic targets with (at their peak) 100 people and still losing some mobs, and it lasted for about 2 months. A huge chunk of their guild was massively undergeared. They were far from banking dragon haste.

Their core members ended up extremely well geared while those they added as cannon fodder got pissed and the guild collapsed when it reached a critical mass combined with their raid suspension. Stratifying members is a horrible idea and I can't believe TMO is now openly doing the same thing.

I wrote 2 pages on this like 4 hours ago. Here it is. http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...&postcount=120 Loke explained it as well. We're raiding some targets with VD because our numbers are low for both predictable and obvious reasons and because VD are great folks to raid with.

In a closed system, consuming resources (loot) requires depriving others of those resources. If you want to assign the most nefarious motives (trying to slow you down out of spite) to your enemy because that makes your trolling MO more reasonable, then go for it. The truth is that you do what you must to keep a guild going. TR loves raiding. If you love to raid and are short people, you either recruit everyone you can /guildinvite or find some good folks to raid with you for a while while respecting their culture independently of yours. We went the way that allows us to preserve our own culture.

When trak breastplates, mana robes, cloaks of piety and poisoned mantles have no value and we no longer have any unkeyed apps, members, coth bots and CR pots for VP, you can accuse us of "just trying to slow TMO down" and I'll be the first to not only agree with you, but not camp out at the lair. Until then, take it easy on the crazy pills. You're not doing your guild any favors.

Cheers

Gotta say, these people are pretty good. Prompting moderate sized essays from guild leadership in a flame forum...

Who gives a fuck? Ignore them and go along doing your raid thing.

I am not an officer or raid leader of TR, just a guy who likes using lots of words and making spreadsheets. My posts and thoughts are just my musings, not the official word of TR. My initial response to jen jen was in response to a legitimate question that hits at a lot of deep issues with the server.

I showed my dad this thread and he said he'd rather go back to live than see this drama. Good stuff.
