You have to exit the fight for it to count, otherwise you'll only get the 1 point for talking but not the 5 for winning the fight.

Also remember to ask each question, and only once. You get points deducted for repeating. And obviously you gain points for recalling the question you asked first.

The banquet was such a cool part of this game, and the hack really makes you work to get all the rewards. Even if the Charm Bangle & Magicrest are both kinda shitty.

Yeah it was a matter of shaving 1 second off that fight.

Flame Eater was a total pain, there must be a trick of some kind because I went through about 20 Tinctures just so Strago could Aqua Rake him to death. Took way longer than any other boss fight so far.

Floating Continent group is going to include Locke and Mog for sure, may take Strago because he has ridiculous HP and MP and some of his Lore spells are really handy. Pearl Wind is just too good.

Floating Continent was not too hard, not the large leap in difficulty as it was in the original version imo.

Flame Eater is not bad at all either. Nothing it can do does much damage at all. Your only danger here is Exploder which will kill you repeatedly. The four bomb enemies here are essentially the same bomb that keeps getting revived, not a different entity every time it's spawned in. What this means is that they can eventually run out of MP and become a non-threat, which will most likely happen if you're not over-leveled since Flame Eater has so much HP. The only trick really is to not kill the bombs but to leave them with as few hp as possible. This means they'll waste MP on a non-fatal Exploder. Enough times they won't have enough MP to really do anything. You'll still probably have to burn through a few Tinctures depending on your level; it's an endurance fight but you can't really lose it because nothing is dangerous enough imo.

He definitely wasn't hard, just extremely tedious. One reload to switch my Marvel Shoes over to Strago and then 15 minutes of casting Aqua Rake and using Tinctures.

So Intangirs are totally killable in this. Equip Setzer with every +Speed item you have (Kikuichi, MarvelShoes, Peace Ring) and put his jump command at the top of the menu. Turn on Turbo, five minutes later it runs out of MP from Rasp and dies. You get 10000 EXP and that's it.

You can steal a Magicite from them though, the item that summons a random Esper. Those are still only worth 1GP in this.

They're useful for powering up Setzer to absurd levels with sub-par stats, I guess. You could put Phantom on him for +2 speed and get him ridiculously fast but I don't think that speeds up his landing from Jump at all. Totally useless thing to kill.

Here's my cheapo doomgaze strat:

Get your highest level, strongest caster (probably Terra or Celes). Teach Fire 3 or Pearl and equip a safety bit.
When you encounter doomgaze, he casts a spell that instantly kills your entire party. Safety bit will keep at least your caster alive. Immediately cast fire 3 (and if you're brave, go for a second) then RUN AWAY and sleep at Gau's dad's house
Doomgaze keeps his current hp between encounters, so you can just whittle him down like that and eventually claim your Bahamut esper.

It takes a while, but he'll die. If you need to figure out how to find him, get in the airship and angle yourself to the right or left VERY slightly and then go forward. On the map, your blip should appear to be scanning the map. You'll run into him eventually.

lol.

My lack of updates is due to my current progress being grinding one char up to level 40, getting bored, playing Minecraft.

The point is to kill 1 Intangir to leap on the Veldt. Intangir's rage set is Meteo/Meteo.
