A friend of mine just invited me to play with him on the Red server, and I was so excited... that is until I saw that all of the starting zones are 100% empty.

It would be nice to have people to play with.

On a red server maybe not ask for a grief session.
*Some* (not all) prefer to grief rather than encourage population growth. They believe it enhances their immersion experience.
It just displays their inherant erhh erhh erhhness.

Sometimes they will see you on and if you aren't anonymous or you divulge your location they will swap to a char just low enough to kill you for the yellow text and then swap to a druid to help you recover and offer some power leveling to welcome you to red. Hazing is a thing for almost every exclusive group of people. But yeah, if you want to actually hang out with players and grind like teenagers, red won't likely satisfy that itch.

enchanters can solo 99.9% of the game that isnt locked behing being cleric fodder for guild officers to gear their 100th alt.

If you play this game xpecting to play with other people as a group based mmo you are the most ignorant ignoramous in all of EverQuest History and potential the bigest ignoramous in all of human history aswell.

EQ is the only mmo that lets you solo dungeons (enchanter) and entire outdoor zones (bard)
