all of you guys are too easily hurt and trololed by tmo. they enjoy trololing you too, it's what is giving them sanity for being bored at the top.
I am sure if TMO wanted to only give Taken shots at dragons, then only Taken would be getting dragons.

Divinity doesn't have the numbers or diversity to do that. That is why. If you had a large guild roster like IB/VD and TMO had/has, then your guild could have easily done it as well. Most of you think that it's the same people doing it, well in fact, it's a few people doing a good bit of the work and a great deal of others helping feel in when they can. I can tell you now, no guild has enough people in that first category to dedicate it all to poopsocking an entire window for any raid target or even do all the tracking for the larger windows. Nearly every mob window has holes where there isn't a tracker on tracking. I think it's obvious why too. However, large recruiting and a diverse group of people will greatly increase your odds of someone being able to be online and tracking.

So do I think a 40man max guild is going to do what TMO does with a roster of about 120+? not a chance. Should you be pissed that TMO has a larger number of people than you so that they can use that advantage? nope.
Tracking simply takes too much time that it's not worth it. I get that there are shortcuts you can take and that you don't need to be tracking 24/7. I was lucky enough to be studying for an exam so I was at a computer the whole time, and it didn't take much effort to tab over and press "track" every few minutes. But usually I wouldn't be able to invest that much time. If our guild had over 100 active members maybe things would be different. I'm not bitter that TMO tracks raid mobs because they're doing what anyone else in their position would do. But having 30 people on a mob's spawn point at all times is a form of bullying, and that kind of behaviour should be condemned. I know it doesn't happen often, hell maybe it won't ever happen anymore without IB around, but that was what I dealt with whenever I tracked VS and that's what just one thing that motivates my attitude towards the raid scene.

PS: This is a red herring anyway since this kind of dedication wasn't required in classic, and this is a classic server.

I'll give you the easiet shortcut. Buy a dummy account, apply to TMO, get tagged to their batphone. when a target pops, tmo batphone will let you know thus allowing you to let your guild know, even though you will probably still lose to them in the end. no matter what you do, you will lose friend, YOU WILL LOSE until the day TMO self implodes. Like every great empire, it will collapse if not from outside, but from within

Man TMO was foretold to explode so many times since 1999. You false prophets should probably find a new career. Or at least put up another fun billboard telling us how the judgement day is coming.

The man you quoted is partly right. While you ride the top seat you may not see any worthwhile competition, until the guild develops what could be a venomous or friendly rift and splits.

It will happen if your numbers/ACTIVE amount of people aren't monitored.

A happy kingdom, is a happy king. Don't forget it. It only takes 4-5 active clerics, 2 active warriors and the smallest imaginable piece of know-how to defeat Kunark.
