I meant Guiliani specifically not as a party affiliation. Under his terms as mayor he cleaned up the city, figuratively and literally. While in theory a draconian stop and frisk policy could be effective, but you'd literally have to first racially profile every NYC citizen then utilize thousands more officers which would result in massive civil liberty violations, which it did.

The public relationship with law enforcement crumbled under Bloombergs policies.

I won't condone the actions of the rioters, but I understand them. In any judgement of the world one must consider the other side's view. Don't lie to yourself, this isnt about 5 time felon druggie Floyd or BLM. The sowing of discord is another aspect of making Trump look bad. The president always gets blamed. If the russians invaded in 2010, everyone would blame Obama.

if I had my way we'd be rolling tanks down the streets of Portland, Seattle, NYC etc.

The cause isn't just though is the problem. 80% of black people in the country want the same amount or more police presence in their neighborhoods. Defunding and\or abolishing the police is a suicidally dumb idea, *especially* for poor communities.

If you could wave a magic wand and eliminate any racial animus among every police dept in the world, cops would still occassionally have to kill a black dude, like they do every other race, and somebody would film it and put it on facebook, and credulous bored idiots would riot again. Not exactly. Real example... Seattle mayor called the protests+riots+chaz the equivalent to a block party. Then finally caved after seeing the damage and called the national guard in. Riots and looting went down. Then when the national guard left,. guess what the riots fired back up again..

Let's look at mexico, people fleeing to find a better life come to america. I would too if I couldn't feed my family, shelter them or find a working toilet.
Now they're in america and can't find a job that pays the amount they'd like. They look to the government to solve their problems.
They are victims and they're being used by politicans to push an AGENDA.

I think it's wrong for politicians to use the victim class to push their political Agenda.
It's been going on for years.

We can not and should not blame the victims. We should be blaming the politicians for failing them and us. And for using them against us.
