Had his type of issue a few months ago with comcast turns out the box was frying; took it over to their office and they replaced it for free. Another time I have had these issues was when they had been doing maintinence in the area
I'm the creator of that other thread that was linked and my issues randomly disappeared a few weeks after they started. Comcast was upgrading stuff in the area so thats what i tied it too and carried on my way. I know others dont have comcast but doesnt mean their providers arent doing work too that is causing packet loss which is usually what causes all these issues.

Unfortunately I am not sure what can be done about this problem. It seems to be some type of routing issue between where the client computer is and where the p99 server is.

Not everyone has these problems but at the same time many do and it's very frustrating.

For myself I use a laptop at one ISP during the day (Verizon 50MB Ethernet) in a completely different state and I disconnect zoning and can't see the server list or I get to character select screen and I see no characters. Some days are better than others but it is a persistent problem since last fall. At night I take the laptop home and my ISP there (Comcast 10MB? cable) and have no issues what so ever.

So this is the 2nd night in a row my connection has turned to utter crap around 9:20 pm PST. Constantly losing connection while zoning or just can't get in at all.

Anyone experiencing this?
I've got COX internet and this same shit has been happening to me too.

Centurylink... Same thing.. Oddly enough, right at around the same time... Where are the conspiracy theorists? It happened in the past and I contacted tech support... He had me unplug a filter on my phone line and that "solved" the problem for about 3 weeks... It was only happening on the weekends then but now it has been going on for the last few days... Wife plugged the phone in again last week and no interference... Just the last couple of days... Blah!

I've been experiencing connection problems too. However, it seems if I wait long enough I will reconnect while zoning. I go link dead sometimes when I zone but get reconnected and the zone loads. Once this happens, it will happen every time until I restart EQ. Also, I only know I go LD because one of my groupmates told me I did.

I have no connection problems with anything else. I play multiple games and this game is the only one that gives me connection issues.

9:20pm is prime porn-watching/downloading time.

Cept 920pm for him is 1120pm for meh... Not saying 1120pm couldn't be prime porn-watching/downloading time... I don't think it's traffic causing the problem with my ISP, though I'm sure it's my ISP causing some sort of problem... Just a bit of a coincidence we started having troubles at the exact same time.... My internet connection would drop all together and have to resync... I let it reset, sit idle for about 5 mins with everything looking normal... I load up into game and before I can cast anything, I'm going LD and my ISP has dropped... =/ IDK... Maybe a new modem?
