Unfortunately I am not sure what can be done about this problem. It seems to be some type of routing issue between where the client computer is and where the p99 server is.
Not everyone has these problems but at the same time many do and it's very frustrating. For myself I use a laptop at one ISP during the day (Verizon 50MB Ethernet) in a completely different state and I disconnect zoning and can't see the server list or I get to character select screen and I see no characters. Some days are better than others but it is a persistent problem since last fall. At night I take the laptop home and my ISP there (Comcast 10MB? cable) and have no issues what so ever. | ||

Centurylink... Same thing.. Oddly enough, right at around the same time... Where are the conspiracy theorists? It happened in the past and I contacted tech support... He had me unplug a filter on my phone line and that "solved" the problem for about 3 weeks... It was only happening on the weekends then but now it has been going on for the last few days... Wife plugged the phone in again last week and no interference... Just the last couple of days... Blah!

I've been experiencing connection problems too. However, it seems if I wait long enough I will reconnect while zoning. I go link dead sometimes when I zone but get reconnected and the zone loads. Once this happens, it will happen every time until I restart EQ. Also, I only know I go LD because one of my groupmates told me I did.
I have no connection problems with anything else. I play multiple games and this game is the only one that gives me connection issues.
