Was what.... 50k 12 months ago or less?

Wonder who's been hoarding the majority of these huh? There's literally someone with access to a couple dozen or more (if 100% legit) torpors just selling em off 1 by 1.

It wasn't this rare on live, even playing on tallon zek on the fucking LIGHT SIDE when seb, skyfire, the overthere etc etc etc were all 100% dark-race only zones (save for large raids)

To be fair I'd add that spells in general seem a lot more rare on here I mean really one has to consider how long Kunark has been out -- and how long people have been farming these areas.

You do need to take into account that while kunark has been out for a long time now. There are also that many more lvl 60 shamans due to the extended time period.

But I am sure you are correct in thinking someone has locked down the market on this spell and is artificially inflating the price by keeping them rare.


Regardless...GL with sale...I hope price drops this fall when I will need it for plem =p

the prices of spells have gone up because of one thing and it alone- the invis pull nerf.

Also b/c there is an unnatural (vis a vis normal timing) glut of 60s all at once b/c of the double exp. week.

I remember torpor being rare on live. Alot of shamans were happy that stoicism or whatever came out so they could feel like they had a mini torpor since they couldnt get the rare spell.

i dont think alot of you sub 58's realize the changes that have happened over the past 5 months... seb before was a cake walk i could wander around the entire zone....

first they added see invis mobs almost everywhere....

so everyone was pretty much forced to hang around zone in, not wander down to NG after they got past the 1st and pretty much only see invis mob near zone line....

prices went up......

then they changed how rogues work, no longer if you died in seb could you send one of the only classes that could wander around all of seb and cr you....

prices went up

then they changed invis pulling... harder to pull fungi and other tough to pull spots...


prices went up

most of the 58+ spells drop off dragons or deep in seb
