As an aside, it is worth recalling that on Live, until cultural armor was introduced blue diamonds and jacinths were just semi-valuable vendor trash, they did not know as we do that blue diamonds will make better resist jewelry come velious, they did not have that same resist jewelry implemented for an extended period ahead of time and then nerfed.

When they realized wu's shouldn't be available AT ALL, they didn't remove or alter pieces that were ingame already. I'd be surprised if they changed the stuff that's already here.

There is a possibility that they will change the existing version into a No Stat piece and add a new recipe that would require you to combine the No Stat piece with the proper gem to make the version with stats again.

I personally think this is the best solution.

Although it doesn't sound classic, it does indeed sound like the best approach to making the armor into what it was supposed to be.

Hate this idea because you're punishing the people who spent money to get the armor and not the crafters who may or may not know that this was improper. You can't go around calling everything an exploit because it's 'not classic'. Being able to make something that sells for more than its vendor-bought parts is an exploit.

I think the most proper implementation would be a variation where the armor is NO-DROP and maintains its stats. Use that same vendor to strip it of its no-drop if you add the proper gems to it. This way the people who have it can't resell it for a cheap price and it maintains the 'high cost' of the item.

Making it stat-less just punishes the people who bought the item from the smiths in the first place. I don't think *anyone* really needs to be punished, there just needs to be a market correction.
