It's not the will to mobilize (well, at 3AM it is lol) but the will to track. 10 targets, 48 hours each on average, is 500 hours a week of sitting in front of the computer. If Sirken decided to broadcast to the server when raid mobs popped, way more guilds would try for them. It would be a cluster fuck tbh.
Yes pls.

Worst idea ever.
Yeah, basically every game that limits the number of people in the raid is using instances. Instances are pretty much the most defining difference between classic and post-classic eq. Basically all raid content after PoP became instanced, they even went back and instanced Time.

Has anyone at all on the forums ever said they don't like the idea of simulated patch days coupled with a couple hours of notice? I can't remember anyone saying they didn't. And it's pretty classic, right? But staff won't even discuss the topic despite its obvious awesomeness.

And no. I'm not biased in calling it awesome. I've already done the TMO thing. It was fun for a while, but I don't even care if I kill raid mobs on here anymore. It's just super [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] [You must be logged in to view images.
